First year 1965 without the money into pennies and quarters into the general circulation (ever asked why you almost never see in cents per quarter in general use before 1965?)

I do not remember exactly, but it was somewhere launched from 1966 to 1968, which make the sandwich "current" version. Since my ex-husband and I began collecting pennies. Your data is probably right.
You can make a difference by the outer edge of the room. The sandwich will reveal a variety of shades of red and gold, or even a clear delineation between the two metals, as will the original currency of all the money a silver.
